Full Job Description

This post is to provide cover for a 12 month period. The primary purpose of this post is to provide endocrine, bone and diabetes clinical services for outpatients, inpatients and support our existing sub-specialty services. Care provision includes supporting all aspects of intensified diabetes management, including insulin pump management (CSII), education sessions and HbA1c target clinics with extra support for children and young people.

Candidates are expected to be tertiary trained in paediatric endocrinology & diabetes and metabolic bone disease and have an excellent, practical knowledge of paediatric diabetes management. Training and experience in metabolic bone disease is desirable, but not essential.
