locum / salaried practice nurse

The Elms Surgery in Watford is seeking a locum/salaried practice nurse to support our healthcare team for approximately 3-4 hours every other week, timings to suit, however afternoons preferred.
The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care and support in a medical practice setting and be keen to make a positive impact on patient well-being and contribute to the delivery of quality healthcare services.
The main responsibilities of the role include:

• Conduct patient assessments and provide appropriate care and treatment for spirometry.


• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.


• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
  
  All applicants should have the following qualifications, registrations, skills and experience:


• Must be accredited with ARTP spirometry and on the national spirometry register.


• Qualified Nurse with current registration with the nursing and midwifery council (NMC) - EMIS trained.


• Proven experience in a clinical setting, preferably in general practice.


• Strong patient care skills with a compassionate and empathetic approach.


• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.


• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.


• Commitment to continuous professional development.
