Full Job Description

A Speciality Doctor post is available to commence as soon as possible at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. The post holder will be expected to work a total of 10 PA's a week which will include 8 sessions of direct clinical care (DCC) and 2 session supporting clinical activity (SPA)., Candidates will share the responsibility of the day to day running of the unit, i.e. operating lists, waiting lists, clinics and supervision of junior staff. The majority of emergencies are seen and treated by the Staff Grades and the Associate Specialist with full consultant cover.

Principal duties will be at Stoke Mandeville and Amersham Hospitals but the Speciality Doctor may be required to carry out regular duties at other clinics.

This post is based in Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust which comprises of 3 main sites; Stoke Mandeville Hospital in Aylesbury, Wycombe General Hospital in High Wycombe and Amersham General Hospital in Amersham. The service also runs from some peripheral sites including Marlow Community Hospital.
