Full Job Description

You will provide expert advice to all areas of the Civil Nuclear business in operational processes and procedures.

  • Develop an approved supply chain network with the purchasing / commodity teams to assist in the delivery of site work.

  • Lead the day to day operation of the executive system including problem resolution in both Inventory management and Warehouse management and ensure that knowledge is transferred to all Logistics personnel to avoid future errors occurring.

  • Assist in managing the inventory and keeping track of equipment delivered to site warehouses.

  • Lead measurable improvement projects within Logistics.

  • Support internal and external audits, plan, prepare and manage any audit actions to close out within the agreed timescales.

  • Ideally have experience of working in logistics or a 3rd Party Logistics environment related to engineering / site construction /manufacturing projects.

  • Previous Experience in delivering results within a logistics or operations environment.

  • Degree or equivalent industry experience.

    To work for Rolls-Royce Submarines you need to hold a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you don't currently already have this in place.

    You will support the site installation team and will have interactions with various areas of the business with a focus on interacting with the purchasing and MEP group. You will provide expert advice to all areas of the Civil Nuclear business in operational processes and procedures.
