Full Job Description
- Ensure full compliance with GDP regulations and documented procedures in regard to wholesale activities of pharmaceutical products.
- Manage a team of Warehouse and Pharmacy Operatives JDA Superusers and Stock Control. Liaise with Quality Assurance, Health & Safety Dept, HR and LED to ensure the necessary resources are available to undertake training of all staff in induction, compliance and adherence to all associated company requirements and policies.
- Carry out monthly cycle count and stock control activities in line with company and financial requirements.
- The post holder will only undertake activities that they have undergone training in, and have been successfully signed off to demonstrate competence.
- Contribute to management of daily warehouse operations as determined by the Senior Management team.
- Deputise for the General Manager as required.
Experience of working in a high volume logistics environment. - People management experience
- Knowledge of warehouse stock systems and processes.
- Experience using a Warehouse Management System (JDA).
- Working knowledge of logistics and operations to be able to identify areas for improvement.
- QA systems knowledge.
- Exposure to collaboratively working with broader business functions to deliver process efficiencies and manage costs.
- Able to represent and act autonomously on behalf of the department and make sound business decisions.
- Experience of WMS systems - JDA knowledge would be a distinct advantage.
- IOSH qualified.
