The Role:

As IFSE has grown the requirement for assistance with our warehouse and logistics has become a priority. As well as recruiting a team member into this new role, IFSE will be purchasing a suitable tail lift vehicle (Luton or similar) to effect deliveries of equipment for projects.,

  • To maintain health and safety within the IFSE warehouse, ensuring that all fire exit routes and doors are kept clear.

  • To maintain allocation of space within the IFSE warehouse between IFSE stock, IFSE work in progress, Romann allocated area, BW team allocated area and Installation supervisor allocated area.

  • To be responsible for all goods-in and goods-out for the IFSE warehouse ensuring security of the goods within the warehouse.

  • To ensure, as far as possible, that all goods-in are received in good condition and are not damaged. Where packaging is damaged to photograph and ensure this is noted on the signed delivery-in note. Where damage is obvious to refuse delivery and liaise with the supplier to ensure replacement is received in timely fashion, liaising with the order process administrator and relevant project manager to advise the issue.

  • To be responsible for all stock and work in progress (WIP) equipment within the IFSE warehouse, ensuring that equipment is consolidated in project specific bays or stock area with all equipment scheduled and labelled correctly.

  • To check all goods in equipment into the warehouse and label immediately and mark off project schedule or stock schedule.

  • Collect fabrication from manufacturer if required.

    Forklift truck experience.

  • Clean driving licence

  • Experience of driving large vehicle.

  • Good computer skills (all MS Office programmes).

  • CSCS card (we can assist if necessary).

  • Willingness to participate in any other courses deemed worthwhile by IFSE and the operative for further progression., Candidates with experience of; Warehouse Operative, Warehouse Person, Retail Warehouse Assistant, Goods Out, Goods In, Stock Control, Inventory, Picker, Packer, Fork Lift Truck Driver, FLT, FLT Operator, Forklift Truck Operator, Forklift Licence, FLT Driver, Logistics Assistant, Logistics Operative, Distribution Operative, Warehouse, Distribution, Process Operative, Production Operative, Processing Assistant, Processing Coordinator, Line Operative, Quality, Manual Handling, MHE, Manual Handling Equipment will also be considered for this role.

    Salary dependent on experience and level of skills.

  • Private Health Care (after 20 weeks service)

  • Company pension scheme with 4% company contribution.

  • Life cover amounting to 4 x salary (after 20 weeks service).

  • Paid annual leave: 25 days pro rata plus Public Holidays.

  • Following the third year of service leave increases by one day per year, up to a maximum of 30 days annual leave.

  • Bank holidays are paid in addition to the above annual leave.

  • Discretionary annual profit share which is related to the success of the company for the year.

  • There is on-site parking available and the IFSE offices are within a 5-minute walk of the Waddon Marsh tram stop.
