Full Job Description
- Receive in items (internally and externally), ensuring documentation is correct and packaging intact, recording items on SAP as soon as practical to do so
- Store items so they are easily retrievable with appropriate identifiers
- Pick items required by production, update SAP and deliver to correct location (raising any incomplete requirements before releasing)
- Manage stock movement records in SAP as directed by Projects
- Carry out cycle count as directed by Team Leader
- Operate Fork Lift Truck and other stores equipment, including checks, basic maintenance and record keeping
- Liaise with 3rd party logistics providers
Experience of working in a warehouse & logistics environment - Working knowledge of SAP (warehouse management) and other ERP systems, MS Excel and Outlook
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of and practical experience in stores & logistics procedures
- Fork Lift Truck driving experience with a valid FLT Licence
