The purpose of the Logistics Specialist, EMEA is to work closely with the regional logistics managers in NAM, EMEA and APIC on multiple logistics projects and tenders. The placeholder will be highly numerate with an ability to problem solve, based on data analysis outcomes, have a can-do attitude and flexibility to travel when required, to support the regional needs. The role will report into the Global Logistics Manager and the successful candidate will be developed over time as a back-up to the European Logistics Manager.,

  • Support globally the logistics managers in EMEA, NAM and APIC in delivering the strategic logistics projects, assisting to identify analyse and deliver cost/service benefits.
  • Develop, implement and maintain logistics tools including, but not limited to, standardized global logistics process maps, logistics improvement projects, logistics tenders, logistics change requests and logistics cost saving evaluations and proposals.
  • Develop logistics tender documents for outsourced logistics services and support the regional logistics managers during the tender process, through to business award and implementation.
  • Analysis of logistics supplier performance metrics, to identify and deliver service/process improvements.
  • Must be able to assume a leadership role and provide strong project management support for major logistics projects working with cross regional/functional teams.

    Degree in logistics/logistics engineering/data analysis/ Business Studies
  • Minimum 3 years working in logistics either for a 3/4PL provider or an in-house logistics function
