Looked after Childrens Nurse

Are you an experienced health care professional in working with Looked After Children and passionate about improving health & wellbeing outcomes ?, The post holder will support the Looked after Childrens Team and be an effective team member whilst working on their own initiative. They will have a commitment to collaborative working and actively support and liaise with other health and social care professionals and agencies. The Children Looked After Nurse will be required to identify and implement plans to meet the health needs for this vulnerable group. This will be achieved by improving the co-ordination, access and delivery of health care to children and young people in care (0 -19yrs) both living in Thurrock and who are the responsibility of Thurrock. This role will provide a valuable contribution to the wider safeguarding health agenda.

This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of the basic salary (with a minimum of £1,258 to a maximum of £2,122 p.a. pro rata for part time).
