Full Job Description
Hours: 21 hours per week, 8:15am to 4:15pm, Wednesday to Friday. Attendance at INSET days and Open mornings is also required.
Salary: Up to £13,854 per annum pro-rata inclusive of holiday pay (£28,956 FTE)
Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only plus 2 weeks during school holiday periods (37 weeks per year)

An opportunity has arisen at St George's Weybridge, a leading independent school based in Surrey, for a Laboratory Technician to join our friendly Science Team. The Science departments are well resourced with an organised and structured approach for students to learn and explore the World of Science.
As part of the Lower School Science team, your role will include maintaining laboratory equipment, set up of practical experiments, stock taking and ordering of resources and providing practical expertise whilst maintaining health and safety measures.
We are seeking an organised and enthusiastic individual with a passion for Science, a formal qualification in this area is desirable. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in science laboratories with an understanding of health and safety regulations, possess excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritise workloads.
