Full Job Description

We are looking for a Luggage Porter to join our team at The Stafford Hotel. You will be responsible for handling luggage and packages, providing information about the property's amenities, and offering personalised services to enhance the guest experience. About The Stafford London Situated just off Piccadilly, in the heart of historic St James's, Mayfair, The Stafford London is one of the finest luxury hotels in the Capital. Alive with English character, it holds 5 AA Red Stars for its excellence. The Stafford London is home to the renowned American Bar, a London institution and The Game Bird, 2 Rosette Restaurant which celebrates contemporary British cooking. Under the direction of celebrated Michelin-starred Chef Lisa Goodwin-Allen, The Game Bird is inspired by great seasonal British produce and the bustle of historic St James's., Greet guests warmly, assist with unloading luggage from vehicles, and transport it to guest rooms or designated areas. Provide information about the property's facilities, services, and local attractions. Assist with the check-in process by escorting guests to their rooms and explaining room features. Ensure the safe handling and storage of luggage, adhering to security and health and safety protocols. Respond to guest requests promptly, and collaborate with the Housekeeping department too deliver additional bedding or Housekeeping supplies. Build positive relationships with guests, addressing their needs and ensuring a memorable stay. Follow safety procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe environment for guests and staff throughout the Hotel. Ensure luggage storage areas remain clean

Previous experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel working with a PMS (Opera) system is essential Highly organized, multitasking individual with a positive attitude a team player Ability to manage varying needs and prioritizing to ensure the best business results

  • luggage safely. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects. An exceptional attention to detail is also required as is a flexible attitude when it comes to working time as the role which is primarily Monday to Friday will occasionally require weekend working If you have a passion for hospitality, the drive to deliver only the best results, a keen eye for detail and first-class service skills then this may be the place for you.

  • Salary of up to £27,796 per year (amount inclusive of basic salary and service charge)
