Full Job Description

The Governing Body are seeking an experienced Lunchtime Supervisor who is enthusiastic, motivated and enjoys working with children.

Highfields Primary School is a vibrant and successful two-form entry primary school and was last inspected in March 2024 when it was described as a good school.

Responsibilities include supervising children in the dinner hall, including assisting with table manners and cleaning any spillages, and supervising playtime, including organising games and activities. The successful applicants will be responsible, caring and able to work as part of a team.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.

Founded in 2012, SIPS Education is a mutual company majority owned by the education settings that we provide services to. Every new client who comes to us for service provision becomes an owner in our business.

We are a not for profit company which enables us to invest in the business and provide bespoke services based on your individual school needs. We also have one over-riding focus: to improve outcomes for children and young people through the provision of high quality school support and school improvement services.

SIPS Education has a large team of teaching practitioners, educational professionals and support staff who are fully committed to sharing their expertise and best practice experience. Combined, this represents a huge body of knowledge covering all schools, all ages and all disciplines, both in the classroom and in support of areas such as IT and governance.

We can deliver these as stand-alone services, or in combination, and either wholly, or in close partnership with your colleagues in school. Look on us as an extension of your teaching staff, and as an organisation that shares your passion for teaching and for giving young people a rewarding learning experience. In all our work, we strive to deliver quality and exceed expectations. In all our services, we aim for versatility and responsiveness.
