Full Job Description

We are looking to employ an enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisor to join our friendly team here at Jesson's C of E Primary School. Our team of supervisory assistants play a key role in maintaining the safety and welfare of our children during lunchtimes. You will be responsible for the care and well-being of pupils and encouraging good personal and social skills. Applicants must be able to relate well to children and be sympathetic to their needs. Main Activities:

  • Working closely with and under the supervision of the Lunchtime Superintendent
  • Supervising pupils in the dinner hall and playground
  • Managing behaviour of pupils in all areas of the school by upholding the schools behaviour policy and report any serious incidents to the Superintendent
  • Ensure cutlery, trays and leftovers are returned to the correct place.
  • To ensure Health and Safety at all times
  • To ensure children play safely indoors during wet play
  • Undertake any training required for the role
