Full Job Description
The Headteacher and Governors wish to appoint a Lunchtime Supervisor to join our dedicated, enthusiastic, hard-working and supportive team. The successful candidate will be fully committed to our school ethos 'Working Together as One'. We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic person who is a real team player and who is keen to work with our existing lunch time team. We are seeking to appoint someone who can:
- Supervise and interact positively with children during the lunch time.
- Organise dinner queues and entrance of pupils into dining hall and from dining hall to playground; ensuring good behaviour and calm atmosphere.
- Direct pupils to the playground and supervise their activities and behaviour. Ensure their safety and well-being and provide emotional support where necessary.
- Supervise pupils inside school premises when they are not allowed outside in inclement weather.
- Be proactive and keen to encourage and take part in playground games
- Deal effectively with any behaviour issues at lunch time in accordance with school policy.
- Show willingness to administer first aid treatment (ideally the successful candidates will hold a first aid
- certificate or be willing to become a qualified first aider).
