Full Job Description

The Academy Council of St John the Baptist Catholic Primary School, A Voluntary Academy on behalf of the Bishop Konstant Catholic Academy Trust are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated lunchtime supervisor. The Bishop Konstant Catholic Academy Trust comprises of three Secondary Schools and twelve Primary Schools. We have a vision for our Trust that goes beyond our individual academies and that changes our perception frommyacademy toouracademy. Working collaboratively, each academy benefits from others' strengths and expertise within the Trust, and practically from the services provided and procured centrally. St John's is a learning community full of enthusiastic children, and a very committed and dedicated staff team with Christ at the centre of all we do. Our children are encouraged to develop an awareness and respect of others as well as themselves, and are a real credit to the school community. Duties will include:

  • escorting children to the dining hall and supervising them whilst they eat and in the playground
  • administering minor first aid
  • reporting any accidents or injuries
  • assisting and supporting with childrens individual needs needs during the lunch break
  • dealing with any behavioural issues and reporting accordingly, A commitment to you and support for your own professional development
