We are looking for candidates who would have an interest in working for Northwood School on a casual basis as a Lunchtime Supervisor.

Northwood is a friendly, happy, welcoming school where young people behave well and are enabled to make excellent academic progress. If you join us, you will be working in a strong and caring community in our brand new building.

  • You will have:
  • We are looking for individuals who can promote a supportive atmosphere for our students so that they achieve their best.

  • Good communication skills, an observant eye and attention to detail are essential.

  • You will need to have a calm nature and work effectively in a busy environment.

  • As a Lunchtime Supervisor, you will need to enjoy working with young people, so you can help and support students aged 11-16 years of age in the school.

  • As a Lunchtime Supervisor at Northwood School, you will be expected to supervise our students during their lunch break, either in the playground or within the school building to ensure that their health and safety is maintained at all times.


  • Ideal candidates will:
  • Have experience of supervising children of secondary school age

  • Be enthusiastic and have a flexible approach to work

  • Have the resolve to make a real difference to the lives of young people.


  • No prior experience is necessary as full training will be given.
