We are seeking an experienced M&A Integration Manager to lead and manage the seamless integration of acquired companies into our organisation. This role requires a blend of analytical, technical, and leadership skills to oversee the integration lifecycle and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mergers and acquisitions, corporate integration, and strategic planning, with a passion for delivering tailored solutions that enhance operational efficiency and drive business growth. The roles and responsibilities for this position are:
- Develop, support and execute comprehensive integration plans for newly acquired companies, ensuring alignment with QBS's strategic objectives.
- Identify and prioritise key integration initiatives to maximise value creation.
- Co-ordinate and manage cross-functional integration teams to ensure timely and effective execution of integration activities.
- Develop and monitor project plan timelines, budgets, and key performance indicators.
- Participate in the due diligence process to assess integration risks, opportunities, and requirements.
- Support the M&A team to evaluate target companies and identify integration challenges.
- Communicate and engage with employees, peers and senior management to drive the completion of actions, management of risks & issues and facilitation of decision making.
- Develop and implement change management strategies to support employees and stakeholders during the integration process.
- Identify and address integration-related issues promptly to ensure smooth and successful integration.
- Manage integration budgets and financial performance, ensuring cost control and realisation of anticipated synergies.
- Prepare and present regular integration status reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Conduct post-integration reviews to assess the effectiveness of integration efforts and identify lessons learned.
- Implement continuous improvement practices to enhance future integration processes.
Education: Bachelor's degree. Experience: 5+ years of experience in in mergers and acquisitions, integration management, or a related field. Skills: - Proven track record of successfully managing complex integration projects in a corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of financial analysis, due diligence, and valuation methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Excellent programme management skills with the ability to influence and manage cross-functional teams.
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance issues related to mergers and acquisitions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Resilience and able to handle pressure and tight deadlines effectively.
- Willingness and ability to travel as required for integration activities and stakeholder meetings.
