MACH Social Worker

The front door team is located for an experienced, qualified Social Worker who wants to be part of a multi-agency Children's hub (front door team); co located with our strategic partners including Police, Health, Education, and other vital partner agencies all working together to keep children safe.
The MACH process includes searching for, and collating, information from a range of sources. You will have the opportunity to take part in daily triage meetings with Police, Social Care, Early Help, and the missing team.
The MACH is faced paced environment, you will have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and direct experience of front-line safeguarding of children.
We are seeking a passionate Social Worker with a real interest and enthusiasm for Social Work practice with Children and their families.
Social Workers at the front door screen referrals, analyse and share information to safeguard and promote the welfare of the children and young people.
Working as part of a wider team to improve safeguarding you will have opportunities to help shape the service to ensure children are protected; your role will provide professionals and concerned members of the public with advice and guidance that will be key to safeguarding; in line with policy, best practice, professional standards, and legislation, therefore ensuring children are always at the centre of our practices.
You will not hold cases or undertake visits and will be dedicated to providing advice and guidance at a professional level, liaising with partners, and attending strategy meetings to assist in critical decision making.
