Full Job Description
In this role you will be responsible for the operation of a variety of manual and CNC machines including lathes, mills and grinders to produce and repair precision parts used in the repair of Blower and Pump systems.,
- The use of manual and CNC machines including lathes, mills and grinders to produce precision parts used in the repair of blower and vacuum pump systems
- Measurement gathering using metrology equipment (predominantly in imperial)
- Thermal spraying (training to be given)
- Welding (training to be given)
Recognised apprentice or vocational training qualification - Experience of working with machine tools and/or mechanical assemblies
- Working knowledge of safety protocols Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements Fully site based, with occasional travel to suppliers Key Competencies
- A passion for problem solving
- Excellent coordination and mechanical skills
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and safety
- Self-motivation and the ability to be pro-active
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Maths
- Basic computer literacy
- Ability to lift up to 25Kg and perform repetitive tasks
