Full Job Description

In this role you will be responsible for the operation of a variety of manual and CNC machines including lathes, mills and grinders to produce and repair precision parts used in the repair of Blower and Pump systems.,

  • The use of manual and CNC machines including lathes, mills and grinders to produce precision parts used in the repair of blower and vacuum pump systems
  • Measurement gathering using metrology equipment (predominantly in imperial)
  • Thermal spraying (training to be given)
  • Welding (training to be given)

    Recognised apprentice or vocational training qualification
  • Experience of working with machine tools and/or mechanical assemblies
  • Working knowledge of safety protocols
  • Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements Fully site based, with occasional travel to suppliers Key Competencies
  • A passion for problem solving
  • Excellent coordination and mechanical skills
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy and safety
  • Self-motivation and the ability to be pro-active
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Maths
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Ability to lift up to 25Kg and perform repetitive tasks
