Macmillan Information and Support Assistant

An exciting job-share opportunity has arisen to work within the Macmillan Cancer Information and Support Centre. The successful post holder will deliver comprehensive cancer information and support at Kettering NHS Foundation Trust for people affected by cancer including patients, carers' family and friends, as well as health and social care professionals.

The successful candidate will be adaptable and flexible and work within a friendly and supportive team of staff and volunteers deliver the core elements of the Macmillan Cancer Recovery package including Holistic needs assessment and care planning and delivery of other health and well-being workshops.

Integral to this role is engagement with service users and key stake-holders across the University Hospitals of Northamptonshire as well as the Northamptonshire Integrated Care system, in order to improve cancer information and support for all., The successful candidate will be adaptable and flexible and work within a friendly and supportive team of staff and volunteers deliver the core elements of the Macmillan Cancer Recovery package including Holistic needs assessment and care planning and delivery of other health and well-being workshops.
