We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Band 4 Macmillan Information Support Worker to join our team at the Tunbridge Wells Hospital Macmillan Hub. This is a 1-year fixed-term role and we are open to a secondment opportunity for internal applicants only.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Band 4 Information Support Worker based at the Macmillan Centre in Maidstone to provide essential support to patients and their families. You will also oversee volunteers at the Tunbridge Wells Hub, ensuring smooth and effective service delivery.

Although primarily based at Tunbridge Wells, you may occasionally be required to work across sites to cover staff shortages or sickness. We operate a Monday to Friday service but are open to flexible working patterns, as long as service needs are met.

MTW is a large acute hospital trust in the south-east of England.

We have a team of over 8,000 full and part-time staff. We also provide specialist cancer services to around 2 million people across Kent and East Sussex via the Kent Oncology Centre.

In the 2024 NHS staff survey, our employees ranked MTW among the top 10 NHS Trusts nationwide and the second-best Trust to work for in the South East.
