Mainstream SEND Learning Support and Pastoral Support Coordinator Salary £27,610 (pro rata fte £31,716)

The Governors are seeking to appoint a Mainstream SEND Learning and Pastoral Support Coordinator to provide excellent pastoral care and mentoring to pupils who require additional support to overcome barriers to learning. The Mainstream SEND Learning and Pastoral Support Coordinator will support teachers to maximize the delivery of teaching and learning as well as provide pupil-based administration support. As the Mainstream SEND Learning and Pastoral Support Coordinator you will: · Mentor individuals and small groups of pupils who require additional support · Lead on daily timetables and support plans · Ensure that all identified pupils make excellent holistic progress · Promote high expectations and secure standards in terms of pupil behaviour and safety · Be responsible for monitoring setting and reviewing individual targets · Collate data and track/ coordinate additional support · Conduct Annual Reviews as directed with the SENCO Our school is committed to continual professional development, which makes this a great opportunity to further develop your skills as the school offers a programme of regular training.
