Maintenance Assistant

Britannia Hotels is searching for Maintenance Assistant to join our team at the Grand hotel Blackpool. Located on Blackpool's famous Promenade, this central Blackpool hotel boasts 274 bedrooms as well as 11 flexible meeting rooms., Your duties will include:

• Plan and deliver email marketing strategies
• Utilise reporting to monitor, track and optimise email campaigns
• Ensure all materials align with our brand standards
• Assist with the setup, testing and implementation of our website sign up units to grow our customer database
• Monitor our customer database and ensure GDPR compliance
• Conduct general Hotel maintenance inside and out.
• Have a basic knowledge of Plumbing/Carpentry/Wall Tiling/Decorating skills.
• Work on your own initiative.
• Communicate effectively with both the public and work colleagues.
• Be fully familiar with all Health and Safety instructions relevant to your area of work.
• Ensure compliance with all workplace health and safety legislation.
  
  The successful candidate will have proven experience working within the field of maintenance & repairs. You must also have a keen attention to detail and the ability to take initiative when tackling problems.
