Full Job Description

Job purpose: To be responsible for carrying out maintenance tasks promptly and to the highest standards. Would be responsible for carrying out day to day administration, Room PPM's, and Filter cleaning. The supervisor will also be responsible for making sure all login documentation is always fully up to date, also keeping all door lock software up to date. Role Competencies: Planning Timescales:

  • To be able to understand and follow a planned maintenance programme within given timescales.
  • To be able to deliver the reporting of our maintenance site "synergy" and ensure all tasks are completed in the timeframe.
  • Decision Making:
  • To have the ability to make decisions on a day-to-day basis when lone working.
  • Impact and Influence:
  • To always drive and deliver the values of the maintenance department both through written and verbal communications. This will require understanding of the maintenance strategy and being able to interpret this into easy day to day actions where others are required to carry out tasks associated with it.
  • To ensure that when working in the maintenance team the values of the department are at the forefront of your mind and that you provide guidance and support to others who may not demonstrate those values in what they do.
  • Skill Level:
  • To have prior knowledge and skill to repair wood work.
  • To have prior experience within the plumbing industry.
  • Knowledge of working with PC's
  • Communication:
  • Be able to provide excellent communication skills and respond to all enquires promptly.
  • To ensure responses to internal and external guests are dealt with in a professional manner and associated timeframe.
  • Budget Management:
  • To be able to help the Maintenance Management to keep within the monthly budget.
  • Lead and Develop:
  • To be able to demonstrate support to the maintenance team.
  • Operating Parameters:
  • Develop and implement company statutory and legal requirements including fire, health and safety, hygiene, electricity at work and local by laws.
  • To carry out tasks from maintenance reporting site in a timely fashion and high standard
  • To deliver the day-to-day admin of the department
  • Carry out maintenance repair work and to ensure it is completed to the highest standard.
  • To be flexible with working hours
  • To be able to cover call outs according to the business.

  • Previous experience in the hotel industry or similar role D
  • Previous experience in one of the following fields, general maintenance, plumbing is essential - D.
  • Relevant qualifications according to the role. - D
