Maintenance Controller (12m FTC)

Join the Close Brothers Vehicle Hire (CBVH) Fleet Management Team where you will provide support to our customers and ensure our fleet of HGVs and LCVs are on the road as much as possible. This includes dealing with breakdowns and defects, managing issues quickly and in the most cost effective way possible. Working as part of the wider Fleet Management team based in Ilkeston, you will liaise with customers and suppliers by both phone and email to ensure excellent customer service and reduce our VOR (vehicle off road) statistics.,

• Answer incoming calls relating to (but not limited to) breakdown, repair & maintenance issues across the HGV & LCV fleet
• Book repairs with suitable suppliers and workshops, working to get the vehicles back on the road as quickly as possible.
• Effectively plan and organise time to maximise productivity and efficiency for yourself, the workshops and the customers
• Ensure that all CBVH systems are fully updated with accurate and clear information so that our customer portal remains up to date
• Escalate issues that could impact the customer or business negatively to the Fleet Support Manager
• Ensure that any rechargeable work is communicated to the customers following the company procedures and time guidelines
  
  Our ideal team member will have strong technical understanding of both heavily, and light commercial vehicles, as well as experience of managing maintenance and breakdowns with suppliers and onsite technicians.
You'll be a team player, a strong communicator and will possess excellent problem solving skills.,
• You're an experienced administrator, with strong understanding of HGVs and LCVs, including managing breakdowns and defects.
• You posses excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• You've got a keen eye for detail and you're good with numbers
• You're a proven problem solver
• You can work independently as well as part of a fast-paced team
• You're able to effectively manage your own workload, including prioritising tasks
