United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) are seeking highly motivated Estates Maintenance Craftperson - Electrical Bias who will be based in the Estates department at Pilgrim Hospital, Boston. The post holder required to play a proactive part within the Estates Maintenance team to meet Trust objectives in a safe, cost effective, efficient manner in compliance with legislation and good practice. - Responsible for maintenance service regime in area of own responsibility.
- Carry out duties such as repairs, fault finding and diagnosis and a variety of equipment.
- Advise on matters relating to Estates maintenance.
- Challenge traditional practice, seeking improved methods of task delivery which improve quality, safety and working practices.
- Plan, diagnose and repair faults on engineering plant as directed
- Ensure that there is optimal utilisation of the Trust's assets within the area managed, expediting the efficient use of the asset to support clinical activity.
- Be aware of the financial impact from own work and help to maintain a balanced position, ensuring cost effective services are planned and organised to maximise high quality and effective service delivery, maintenance and focused on achieving statutory compliance.
- Support the development of team roles through mentoring and shadowing, allowing the teams to learn from your technical skills.
- Maintain accurate records for reactive and planned activities.
Excellent Communication Skills, Written and Verbal - Able to work independently and make decisions based on analysis of information.
- Able to plan, organise and manage own work activities.
- Able to Drive and have a Valid full UK driving Licence or applicable UK approved Driving Licence
