Maintenance Engineer

My client is a long-standing company within the manufacturing sector looking for an experienced Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their close-knit team and keep all aspects of the plant and building maintenance running smoothly.

The Role - Maintenance Engineer
- Ensure all aspects of building and plant maintenance within the company's
premises are conducted safely and promptly
- PLC fault finding
- Prioritise and ensure compliance with the company's Health & Safety Policy
- Undertake Health & Safety-related tasks to maintain ongoing compliance
- Communicate and coordinate with sub-contractors and machinery manufacturers
for maintenance, upkeep, and installation tasks as needed
- 40% electrical work, 60% mechanical

Minimum Skills / Experience Required - Maintenance Engineer
- A seasoned Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with experience working in a
manufacturing/heavy industry environment
- Previous experience in PLC fault-finding
- Candidates should be time-served apprentices and have a minimum NVQ level 3 in
engineering or equivalent
- Electrical Knowledge ideally 18th Edition
- Inverter Drive Knowledge
- 60% of work is mechanical so an understanding of Hydraulics and Pneumatics
