Full Job Description

+ Diagnose and repair issues with equipment, appliances, and systems within the hotel, including electrical faults, plumbing problems, and HVAC malfunctions.
+ Respond promptly to maintenance requests from hotel staff and guests, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
+ Maintain an inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts needed for maintenance tasks, and purchaise from stores if needed.
+ Order and stock replacement parts to ensure that repairs can be completed promptly.
+ Coordinate and supervise the work of external contractors for specialized maintenance tasks or major repairs that require outside expertise.
+ Ensure contractors adhere to hotel standards and safety protocols while on-site.
+ Address maintenance issues that directly affect guest comfort and safety, such as faulty air conditioning, plumbing issues, or electrical problems.
+ Ensure that all guest areas, such as rooms, hallways, and public spaces, are well-maintained and in good repair.
+ Awareness of current Health and Safety regulations through previous relevant trainings.
+ Ability to work at heights and in different conditions.
+ Comply with hotel safety and security.
+ Ability to use documentation and IT systems for reporting and maintaining records.
+ Experience operating advanced electrical and mechanical machinery & systems.
+ Completion of work of plumbing nature, included but not limited to bathroom fixtures, shower trays, pumps, FCU and light mechanical works.
+ Trained on equipment measuring devices.
+ Be prepared to respond to emergencies, such as power outages, plumbing leaks, or equipment failures, ensuring swift action to minimize disruption and damage.
+ Participate in hotel emergency drills and safety training.

Profile
+ City & Guilds qualification or equivalent in mechanical or plumping engineering.
+ The ability and drive to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
+ Being organised and proactive in managing tasks.
+ Passionate for delivering high standard results.
+ Being an excellent team player and have an outstanding communication and guest facing skills.
+ Legionella awareness.
+ Exceptional attention to detail.
+ Minimum of 1 years' hotel experience.
