Maintenance Engineer

We are looking to appoint a mechanical bias maintenance engineer at our Coventry palletinspection and repair site.Reporting to the Site Manager, you will cover all aspects of mechanical equipment includingreactive and planned maintenance inspections, overhauling equipment, monitoring plantconditions, reporting defects and diagnosing and repairing faults as they occur.Key tasks and responsibilities: ? Working to a high standard of Health and Safety ? You will be carrying out mechanical preventative maintenance duties across the site ? Attending breakdowns ? Completing remedial correctives ? Improving the plants availability and reliability ? General maintenance of Chain conveyors, Power hydraulics, Pneumatics controls, Pneumatic tools, Bearings, Couplings, Gearboxes, Chain drives ? Some welding and fabrication ? Working with industrial automation equipment ? General factory mechanical maintenance ? Some electrical knowledge on fault finding and rectification would be preferred ? FLT Inspections ? Monitor and control spare parts needed to ensure production is not impacted by mechanical breakdowns ? Making improvements across the site to improve production output

? You must hold mechanical qualification (i.e. City & Guilds / BTEC / NVQ Level 3) ? Preferably apprentice trained with two years' experience ? Basic Computer skills ? Driving licence, ? Chain conveyors ? Power hydraulics ? Pneumatics controls ? Pneumatic tools ? Bearings ? Couplings ? Gearboxes ? Chain drivesPrevious experience within an industrial production environment.You must have the ability to communicate in English as well as comprehend writteninstructions.
