We are looking for a Maintenance Manager to lead and develop the Hull site maintenance team, build and implement the asset maintenance as well as take responsibility for contributing to our productivity programme. What will you be doing?
- Be accountable for manufacturing equipment issue resolution, both re-active resolution and pro-active equipment upkeep / improvements.
- Own an effective asset care strategy for the Hull Manufacturing operation.
- Support in delivering New Product Development projects.
- Set continuous improvement strategies and goals in collaboration with the OpEx organisation.
- Develop the standards for asset care excellence.
- Execution of proactive and reactive asset obsolescence mitigation activities to protect supply and product integrity.
- Build and maintain strong relationships and collaborate optimally with all levels and cross functionally within the Organisation as well as with third party manufacturers.
- Manage the performance of direct reports and team members.
- Coach and mentor within Hull Operations department in technical analysis, lean, TPM, and problem solving skills.
- Responsible for the management and control of allocated budgets including capital as appropriate.
- Maintain equipment related asset documentation.
Our successful candidate will come from an extensive, hands-on engineering background, with recent people leadership experience and the ability to coach and develop a team. You'll be educated in a relevant scientific / engineering field, strong communication skills and able to resolve problems via structured methods.
