Full Job Description

A great opportunity has arisen to be involved in maintaining Council owned buildings in the District of Ashfield in West Nottinghamshire. We are an ambitious District Authority based in Kirkby in Ashfield, in easy reach of Nottingham, Sheffield and Chesterfield.

Ashfield is a great place to work, valuing our employees, offering benefits including a very generous holiday entitlement, up to 34 days per year, personal development and a local government pension.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed and self-motivated individual to join our Maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of a programmed and reactive maintenance service to the Council's public buildings and other assets. The role will also assist in the preparation of planned maintenance programmes for the Council's non-domestic assets, including stock condition surveys and cost estimates.

The role will involve regular travel to various sites in Ashfield, therefore a full driving licence will be required.
