Maintenance Operative

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Operative to join our team in Great Ellingham, a perfect opportunity for someone wanting an active role making a positive difference to people's lives.

The successful candidate will play a vital part in maintaining a safe working and living environment for our staff and the people we support at Westward care, 8 Acres. Your duties will include;

Undertake general facilities support tasks, including furniture building and furniture removals, grounds maintenance and keeping areas clean and tidy generally.
Complete minor repairs.
Manage and prioritise own workload in order to complete repairs in a timely manner and in accordance with KPI/SLA timescales.
Communicate effectively with building occupiers to minimise inconvenience when planning and undertaking building maintenance.
Carry out such other maintenance duties as required or delegated by the Maintenance Team Leader or Operational teams.
Ensure our services remain an environmentally safe place to live for the people we support.
Ensure National Care Group's vision and values are always adhered to.

Strong communication skills across all levels
Flexible approach to working from time to time
Experience in a maintenance or grounds maintenance role
Ability to manage own workload
