Maintenance Operative

Avery Healthcare is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Maintenance Operative to join their team at Loxley Park Care Home in Sheffield. This role involves ensuring the building and grounds are well maintained, undertaking a variety of routine maintenance tasks, checks to services, and applying basic fixes to equipment and systems., As a Maintenance Operative, your focus will be on maintaining the building and grounds, carrying out general maintenance tasks and basic repairs including electrical, plumbing, joinery, and building work both inside and outside the home. You will also support new residents to arrange their rooms, ensure routine re-decoration is undertaken, and advise on the supply and quality of items used to carry out tasks. Additionally, you will provide an out-of-hours emergency service and participate in the on-call rota.
