Full Job Description
We are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor (Planning) to support the delivery of identified targets within the Production team with responsibility for overall long and short term work planning for Dinorwig and Ffestiniog Power Stations, involving the implementation of the business maintenance philosophy and coordination of daily work.
You will hold a minimum of a BTEC Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline. Ideally have successfully completed formal training in safety (e.g. IOSH Managing Safety). As well as formal qualifications and training, candidates are also expected to have relevant experience and knowledge in the following areas:
- Planning and scheduling of work in a heavy engineering environment
- Proven leadership skills
- Technical knowledge relating to plant maintenance work in a heavy engineering environment
- A comprehensive understanding of manpower planning
- Understanding of, power plant operations, engineering and maintenance
- Knowledge of Environmental, Health and Safety legislation and its impact on day to day operations
- Strong understanding of QEH&S management systems
- Able to carry out Risk Assessments and Method Statements for a variety of work
- Excellent IT skills andknowledge, including Maintenance Management Systems and MS Project
- The ability to work flexibly and react to unforeseen issues We are seeking a confident and innovative self-starter with a pragmatic approach to operations, maintenance and engineering.

Salary of between £60k to £67k - starting salary will be dependent upon skills and experience of the successful candidate.
