Full Job Description
- To provide maintenance services, in accordance with current best practices, according to policy and procedures, agreed standards, legislative requirements and relevant regulations under the direction of the Maintenance Manager and CEO.
- To action both planned and reactive maintenance issues to prioritise in terms of urgency, Assist in the assessment of the effectiveness of maintenance implementation and delivery
- Implement actions to meet and maintain maintenance standards
- Maintenance and completion of accurate records
- Systematically solve day-to-day problematical issues which arise
- Ensure that Cascades' rights are protected
- Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals they support
- Coordinate and liaise with external agencies to ensure that Cascades buildings and vehicles are compliant with the relevant governing bodies/legislation.
- Develop effective working relationships with the other employees within Cascade
- Be involved in the implementation and maintenance of the service's quality assurance programme
- Cooperate with the implementation, evaluation, orientation and induction of all new employees
RQF Diploma/HNC/City and Guilds in Maintenance or Building Services ( Desirable ) - Ensure accurate, legible maintenance schedules are completed and maintained
- Assist in the formulation and implementation of maintenance policies and procedures
- Good English - Written and verbal
- To communicate effectively with Cascade and their visitors

- Experience of working in a similar environment ( Essential )
- Previous experience of working in a maintenance role ( Essential )
- Previous employment in the building trade ( Essential )
- Experience of working with Service Users who have additional support needs ( Essential )
