Full Job Description

Landmarc Support Services is seeking a motivated Maintenance Team Leader to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead a group of operatives dedicated to the upkeep and maintenance of the Defence Training Estate. Typical tasks conducted by the team include carrying out Engineering tasks on military equipment such as Generators Radars Tracked and LGV type vehicles and managing the day-to-day duties of the team.,

  • Lead and manage a team, acting as their primary point of contact for task allocation and performance management
  • Play an active role - your time will involve working alongside your team and carrying out Admin tasks
  • Carry out all aspects of the equipment maintenance tasks
  • Operation and maintenance of plant and equipment
  • Manufacturing and deploying targets
  • Ensure that the facilities adhere to strict safety protocols
  • Complete all necessary documentation using both IT and paper-based systems
  • Perform additional tasks as needed to support the overall success of the team

    We are looking for a someone with experience working on maintaining and repairing a wide range of equipment or leading a high-performing team in an Engineering Environment., Knowledge of Equipment Maintenance
  • Broad experience in engineering maintenance and operating plant machinery
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels
  • Basic IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, JAMES and other databases
  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse, fast-paced team environment
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety protocols
  • An initiative-taking approach to learning and personal development
  • A valid Manual UK driving licence is essential to carry out the duties of this role
