Full Job Description
As a Maintenance Technical Support Engineer, you will be involved in providing maintenance technical support as well as supporting Services tenders & projects in the Engineering area. We'll look to you for:
- Supply engineering resource/skills to support tenders and projects.
- Collaborates with Services Engineering and Platforms, to improve the Services portfolio of products and services.
- Participates actively in the Services Engineering network.
- Assures the technical support to the projects.
- Optimises the scope and related tasks of the Maintenance plan.
- Supports cost reduction actions, with sourcing and industrial.
- Detects, defines and implements the modifications of the maintained products to improve the reliability and serviceability, in order to reduce project costs and improve the performances of the systems.
- Proposes innovative solutions and develops and implements R&D programs and new technologies in the maintenance projects.
- Analyses the technical performances of the systems and the efficiency of the maintenance plan and processes, promoting action plans to improve them.
- Propose actions to optimise Maintenance plans and LCC.
- Searches for improvement actions in maintenance operations, performing engineering interface activities with Operations Engineers (depot support).
- Promotes the use of latest maintenance technics and R&D developments (CBM, RCM, Lean).
- Analyses failure criticality studies and uses RCM (Reliability Centred Maintenance) and other available methodologies to define and optimise the maintenance requirements, tasks and intervals.
- Analyses and integrates data coming from Operations (Return on Experience).
- Manages interface with other Product Lines' Metiers.

- Experience in Railways system/Application engineering
- ETCS experience is highly desirable
- Knowledge of rolling stock equipment
- Problem solving capacity (technical and costs evaluation of a solution)
