Full Job Description
Catch 22 are working with a very prestigious, Grade 1 listed residency based in Central London who are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join their small, yet compact team.
The successful applicant will perform Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance to both Plant, Equipment and Building Services within a well-known, heritage site within the heart of Central London.
Role Summary:
- Electrical tasks with a view to develop and expand this side of the role.
- IT competent to allow monitoring and operation of BMS system - training will be provided for this.
- Basic engineering knowledge to facilitate working with in-house boilers; pumps; generators; air conditioning systems; heating and water systems.
- Occasional carpentry, painting and decorating.
- Ability to carry out PAT testing or willingness to engage in training to allow this.
- Reactive and proactive maintenance to a Grade 1 Listed Heritage Property as part of a small team.
- Basic plumbing
- Liaise with and, oversee outside specialist contractors.
- A willingness to cover the roles of other staff members when called upon to do so.
- An ability to work within relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
- Basic electrical training - NVQ or equivalent
- Basic plumbing experience
- General knowledge and understanding for Health and Safety
- Experience in dealing with external contractors
- Record keeping experience
- Previous in a customer facing role
- Working in a historic building environment - desirable but not essential!
- Salary of up to £33,000
