Full Job Description
- Carry out planned maintenance across the site in an accurate and timely and safe manner.
- Work closely with other departments finding ways to increase machine reliability on existing and new equipment.
- Diagnose equipment breakdowns and action repairs where possible.
- Analyse data and find solutions to improve MHE performance.
- Communication and reporting of all work activities, defects and parts used through appropriate medium, whether directly to operation or Engineering Team Manager on occasion of breakdown, or full reporting after the event to ensure an accurate record is maintained designing maintenance strategies, procedures and methods. Shift: Monday-Friday working 42 hours per week. Week 1: 06:00 to 14:30, Week 2: 10:00 to 18:30
- Electrical or mechanical experience, preferably within an FMCG environment
- A natural problem solver, experienced in working with controls, analysing faults and providing solutions
- Good technical ability relating to automation hardware and software, ideally with some experience of both reactive and preventative maintenance
- An organised, capable team player with excellent communication skills Full training to complete the technician role over 5 weeks will be given but experience of working within an automated warehouse / logistics environment would be desirable. Flexibility of working pattern as and when required by business needs.
