We are passionate and excited about how we can develop and utilise new technologies to shape and inspire changes within an ever-growing market place., We currently have an opportunity for a Maintenance Technician based at our site in Rawcliffe Bridge. The role involves working as part of a small multi skilled team to perform routine maintenance procedures and help troubleshoot and quickly repair any mechanical or electrical problems with the manufacturing processes and supporting equipment and systems. Day-to-day tasks can vary greatly based priorities and requires working closely with the maintenance, operations, quality, and engineering teams. The role will also involve interaction with specialised external contractors with the overall aim to allow production to operate safely and efficiently. The role is days based Monday to Friday with an on call rota out of hours.

  • Have the ability to work as part of a team to solve problems contributing your knowledge and valuing the knowledge of others
  • Good written and verbal communicator, able to demonstrate an eye for detail
  • Competence in basic IT skills such as email, web applications or other IT systems
  • Commitment to ongoing training & development
  • Commitment to maintaining high safety, health & environmental standards
  • Able to demonstrate initiative, and a willingness to ask questions
  • Desirables:
  • Knowledge of healthcare or pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Experience of working with electronic maintenance management systems
  • A recognised electrical or mechanical qualification at level 3 or above and some experience of working within a relevant industry sector
