Full Job Description

Our team is the best in the industry - is it time for you to join us?, As part of the growing Major Accounts team, the Major Account Representative will be responsible for managing and developing business on one of GAP's largest major accounts. Visiting the customer's sites around the UK, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders through regular meetings and communication, promoting all of GAP's divisions to sites whilst identifying opportunities to grow revenue for each GAP division.

  • Significant experience working in an area sales role within the construction/hire industry is essential

  • A proven track record in exceeding sales targets and generating revenue growth by maximising opportunities from existing accounts

  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels

  • An effective negotiator and problem solver with the ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritise workload

  • Proficient in MS Office packages including Excel and Word, and CRM systems

  • Driving Licence (Essential)

  • Please note this role will include extensive travel across the UK. The ideal candidate will likely be based in central England.
