Tameside has a number of significant growth projects that are being taken forward. These include the 2000+ home Godley Green Garden Village, the Ashton Moss employment site with capacity to deliver 1m sqft of commercial floorspace for advanced manufacturing uses, the St Petersfield mixed use regeneration scheme and other significant town centre regeneration projects.

These growth projects will deliver significant benefits including affordable housing, substantial infrastructure to improve connectivity, social value outcomes, unlocking private sector investment and expertise, alongside the revitalisation and re-imagination of Tameside's town centres.

Reporting to the Head of Development and Major Programmes and alongside key partners including GMCA, Homes England and TfGM you will be responsible for leading on the major growth projects within the Investment and Development team. Your role will be to drive forward the delivery of Tameside's key strategic sites, including the Godley Green Garden Village and Ashton Moss Innovation Park, to support the Council's corporate objectives for growth.

You will have a relevant professional qualification, with experience of successful delivery of projects and programmes with private/public sector interface on time and within budget. You will be able to work effectively in range of multi-agency and partnership settings to deliver investment and development schemes whilst negotiating complex commercial arrangements for project delivery.
