We're looking for a kind, reliable, and engaging male support worker to join us in providing exceptional 1-1 support for an incredible gentleman living independently in Hemel Hempstead. This role is perfect for someone who shares his interests and can bring energy, enthusiasm, and understanding to his everyday life. About Him

  • A friendly gentleman in his 40s, living independently in his own supported living home in Hemel Hempstead, complete with a big garden and free on-site parking.
  • Passionate about Chinese culture but also celebrates Christian traditions.
  • Loves being active in the community, going on walks, playing board games, and traveling (he recently explored Prague and loves holidaying in places like Benidorm).
  • Enjoys music (CDs are a favourite!), has an obsession for calculators, and enjoys playing board games.
  • Your Role As his Support Worker, you'll:
  • Support with establishing and maintaining a daily routine.
  • Assist with medication administration, ordering of medication and attending health appointments.
  • This gentleman is passionate about cooking! You will work together in the kitchen to prepare meals. If you enjoy food and cooking, this is the perfect opportunity to share that enthusiasm.
  • As he has his own car, you will need to be a confident and capable driver, comfortable behind the wheel of an automatic vehicle.
  • Shift Details Shifts mainly available on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday but we are looking for someone with flexibility. A weekend shift once a month includes a long day with a sleep-in (7:30am - 10pm, then a sleep-in until 7:30am). Shifts are planned 4 weeks in advance.
