Mammographer

Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust provides a symptomatic breast imaging service to the Tameside population prioritising patient focussed care. We have good liaisons with the wider breast team and links with University Hospital of South Manchester for MDT.
We currently have two brand new Pristina GE mammography suites and two ultrasound suites within a dedicated breast imaging department.
We are a small friendly team and pride ourselves on staff development, supporting advanced and associate practice., To undertake routine mammography within the NHS foundation trust. To provide support to the wider breast imaging team when required e.g. biopsy procedures. Other duties will include, routine QA equipment testing and general housekeeping. Undertaking any clerical duties as per department needs and supporting weekend sessions on an ad hoc basis.
