Management Accountant

Are you someone who is proactive, analytical, and loves working with others? Do you have a proven record of producing monthly accounts and are eager to grow your finance career in a supportive and collaborative environment?, Reporting to our Assistant Financial Controller, you will support the production of monthly accounts, regulatory returns and financial statements. Collaborating with the wider Finance team to improve processes and streamline automation.,

• Prepare monthly management accounts, carrying out bank reconciliations and posting journal entries


• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all balances are checked and accurate


• Prepare monthly reports for stakeholders including shareholders and investors.


• Assist with the preparation of regulatory reporting.


• Assist with the preparation of year end statutory accounts under FRS102.


• Assist the team during the annual company audit by helping with queries


• Provide ad-hoc support to senior members of the team and projects as required
  
  Part qualified and working towards ACCA/ACA/CIMA


• Intermediate Excel skills - e.g. Pivot tables, VLookups.


• Experience working within a similar accounting & finance position.


• Some knowledge of FCA reporting guidelines - not essential and can be taught


• Some knowledge of FRS 102 reporting standards - but this can be taught
