Full Job Description

My client has been trading for over 25 years, with profound success along the way, and a turnover in access of £10m. Over the years, my client has consolidated the various companies to operate under one holding company, that are within stable markets where over the last 15-20 years have established a strong reputable name for each entity. This role will give opportunity to work closely and present to the board of directors. The role will be based at their Head Office based in Warrington, close to the M62 Junction 10 and M6 Junction 21A. This will be commutable from all areas such as Warrington, Liverpool, St Helens, Northwich, Knutsford and areas in Manchester including Altrincham, Urmston, Eccles, Wythenshawe and Stretford.
The duties for the Management Accountant includes:

  • Full production of the Management Accounts

  • Production of the variance analysis

  • Provide commentary of Management Accounts / Variance Analysis

  • Support the wider team on Year End accounts

  • Budgeting / Forecasting

  • Cash Flow forecasting

    Qualified in AAT or Part-Qualified in either ACCA / ACA / CIMA. My client will also consider those that are Qualified by Experience.

  • Experienced with the full end to end production of management accounts

  • Comfortable with presenting to board of directors

  • Comfortable with taking ownership of work

  • Able to work amongst a busy, fast moving finance team

  • Outstanding stakeholder management

    Salary range of £35,000 to £40,000
