Full Job Description

We have an excellent new opportunity for a Senior Management Accountant to join our fast-paced and friendly Finance Department in our central Bristol offices on a 12 month secondment basis. Reporting to the FP&A Manager, the successful candidate will hold responsibility for the production of financial reporting, providing financial analysis and insight to the EMC and Group Controlling, as well as ensuring that financial controls are being applied consistently across the wider business. In addition, you'll carry out internal audits that impact the Financial Statements, which involves working with the business, identifying risks, documenting findings and make recommendations for improvement. You'll hold line management responsibility for the management accounts team, and will work closely to support, coach and develop the team whilst undertaking management duties, such as appraisals and regular 1 2 1's. This is a great opportunity to work closely with internal stakeholders of all levels, including the Head of Business Controlling & Reporting, Finance Director and CFO.

We are keen to hear from candidates that can demonstrate the following:

  • Fully qualified or working towards relevant qualifications (CIMA/ACCA)
  • Previous Management Accounts experience
  • Good working knowledge of database extraction and MS Office applications
  • Excellent analytical, numeracy & literacy skills with particular emphasis on MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Team leader experience is desirable, but not essential
