We're a passionate bunch and expectations are high, but we're team players - collaborating, supporting, and leaving egos at the door., InPost are looking for a Management Accountant who wants to contribute but also learn and develop. You will support the finance team with the day-to-day operations of the finance function ensuring processes are being accurately and efficiently managed, as well as being a key team member in month end and group reporting processes. What you'll be doing:

  • Ownership and preparation of monthly management accounts - closing of ledgers, maintenance of fixed asset register, balance sheet reconciliations, and processing of monthly journals
  • Ownership and preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and control reviews monthly, including intercompany reconciliations
  • Management and enhancement of accounting processes and systems, ensuring efficient workflow, accuracy, and compliance with company policies
  • Supporting on monthly G&A reporting, as well as reviewing monthly expenditure with budget holders
  • Supporting on monthly and weekly cashflow reporting
  • Supporting the accounts payable, ground rents and accounts receivable team in making sure that all invoices and billing are accurate and timely, as well as supporting in processing/approving payment runs on a weekly basis
  • Supporting with annual audit process
  • Supporting in preparation and submission of VAT returns
  • Supporting with ad hoc business requests as needed

  • Part Qualified/Qualified Accountant with relevant qualification
  • Suitable experience in a similar role is desirable
  • Previous SME finance team experience
  • Experience of working with Sage 200 is desirable
  • Knowledge of accounting processes
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to work well with different teams and manage a range of different stakeholders
  • Self-motivated and aspirational, willing, and able to take initiative
  • Key Skills:

  • A keen eye for detail and ability to work to deadlines
  • Able to adapt to ever changing circumstances, the business moves quickly so you will need to be able to keep up!
