Full Job Description

TFG Brands is a vibrant and growing Retail Group. We have premium brands across Fashion and Homeware including Phase Eight, Whistles, Hobbs, Inside Story and Whites Stuff and lofty ambitions to grow even more. Our central teams function provides the back office support to allow our brands to continue to flourish and with that in mind, e are now hiring a Senior Management Accountant to work on the Stock and Payroll part of the business. Your key duties and responsibilities as Senior Management Accountant will include:

  • Ownership of ensuring the accuracy and completeness of stockholding costs reported in the accounting system (Sun) for the entire TFG Group (all brands), including:
  • Warehousing costs Carrier Costs Packaging costs Freight, duty and handling costs
  • Preparation of detailed monthly cost analysis for stockholding costs, including variance against budget & prior year
  • Work with the Commercial Finance team and budget holders to understand cost drivers providing commentary to support the reported costs
  • Preparation of the Sales and COGS reconciliations and following up on any variances
  • Calculation of sales return provision
  • Provide monthly reporting to the business on the performance of our global ecommerce operations
  • Act as a key point of contact for all audit queries
  • Business partner with Logistics, Ecommerce, Stock, Marketing and Brand teams providing financial insight and analysis to support business decisions

    To be successful in the role of Senior Management Accountant you will have the following skills and attributes:
  • CIMA / ACCA qualified Experienced Management Accountant ideally from a retail background with experience in a multi site operations preferable Experience coaching/managing junior team members Strong professional communication skills Ability to clearly demonstrate and align with our TFG values; We Care, We Create, We Collaborate, We Connect
