We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Management Accountant to play a crucial role in driving the financial success of one of our esteemed clients that operates in the telecommunications sector. This position is integral to providing financial insights and strategic guidance to their leadership team. The successful candidate will work closely with various departments to maintain financial stability, enhance efficiency, and drive profitability., 1. Financial Reporting and Analysis

  • Produce comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including budget comparisons, variance analysis, and performance trends.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and highlight areas needing improvement.
  • Offer actionable insights and recommendations to senior management to support informed decision-making.
  • 2. Budgeting and Forecasting
  • Lead the preparation of the annual budget and periodic financial forecasts.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to formulate budget plans and track their performance against established benchmarks.
  • Analyse budget variances, providing explanations and strategic recommendations to management.
  • 3. Cost Analysis and Management
  • Perform cost analysis to pinpoint opportunities for cost savings and enhanced efficiency.
  • Monitor and assess costs associated with production, operations, and projects.
  • Develop and maintain robust cost accounting systems to support financial planning.
  • 4. Financial Planning and Strategy
  • Assist in shaping strategic initiatives by delivering insightful financial analysis.
  • Contribute to the creation of long-term financial plans and organisational goals.
  • Evaluate potential investments, offering financial analysis to support strategic decisions.
  • 5. Audit and Compliance
  • Oversee and coordinate internal and external audit processes, ensuring timely provision of documentation and information.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
  • 6. Internal Controls
  • Design and implement internal controls to protect company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial information.
  • Provide support during internal and external audits, ensuring all requested documentation is available and accurate.
  • 7. Stakeholder Communication
  • Effectively communicate financial insights and analysis to stakeholders, including senior management, department heads, and external partners.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to address financial challenges and support the achievement of organisational objectives.

    Proven experience as a Management Accountant, Financial Analyst, or in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis methodologies.
  • Advanced skills in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High proficiency in Excel and financial management software.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
